Our Activities
We have a variety of activities available between OutdoorTrax sites at The Falkirk Wheel and in Auchinstarry Marina. Below are a list of activities available during the 2023 season including our prices. Booking in advance is recommended. Please contact us for all booking enquiries.
The Falkirk Wheel
Bike Hire
Cycle along the banks of the Forth and Clyde or Union canals with ease on our selection of Raleigh bikes. With full day available, take in the beautiful surroundings and landmarks. Please phone ahead to ensure reservations.
Adult Bikes - £15 first hour - Additional Hours £3
Child Bikes - £10 first hour - Additional Hours £3
Trailer - £10 first hour - Additional Hours £3
Water Walking
These are available on the basin below the Falkirk Wheel and as well as being; fun enjoyable, exciting and challenging, they are great to watch. Recommended for ages 5 and over.
Price: £10 per adult or £8 per child
Bumper Boats
The Bumper Boats help make it a great day out and feature their own built in water canon. Always a good idea to plan ahead and bring a towel and a change of clothes.
Price: £8 per person or £10 for Driver and Passenger
Min Height for solo driver is 44 inches or 112cm.
Min height for an accompanied passenger is 40 inches or 112cm.
Water Peddlerz
The Water Peddlerz are available for children between the ages 4 and 10. The Peddlerz can be found at the small pool within the basin of the Falkirk Wheel.
Price: £5 per person
Auchinstarry Marina
Delighted to continue activities in association with Central Scotland Activities.
Canoe Hire
We have a range of 2 and 3 seater canoes available from our Auchinstarry Marina site. Take advantage of the open waters along the Forth and Clyde canal. Pre booking is encouraged to avoid disappointment.
£20 per hour
Kayak Hire
Kayaking is available from our site in Auchinstarry Marina only. Take advantage of the open waters along the Forth and Clyde canal. Booking is advised to avoid disappointment.
£15 per hour
** Previous experience will be required for Kayak Hire
